## Description

🍵 Matcha🌶 Chai Spices☕ Medium Caffeine🍵 Whisked Powder

The spiced-latte cup — stone-ground matcha whisked with chai spices, no steeping required.

Matcha isn’t a steeped tea — it’s a fine green powder, ground from shade-grown leaves, that you whisk directly into hot water or milk. Where most matcha is drunk neat, this blend layers in the chai spice rack: cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, clove. The result is a frothy, slightly creamy cup with the bright energy of green tea and the warmth of an Indian masala.

Built for milk. Whisk a teaspoon into a small amount of hot water until smooth, then top with steamed milk for the latte version. Faster than brewing chai from leaf — and because the leaf is consumed whole rather than steeped, you get more of what makes green tea green.

We only put ingredients in our products that we would use on our own family. Every ingredient has a purpose. If it doesn’t need to be there, it isn’t.

## Tasting Notes

🌶

Cardamom & Cinnamon

Aroma

Sweet, warm spice arrives at the nose first — the bakery side of the chai rack. Cardamom up front, cinnamon underneath.

🍵

Matcha Body

Body

Whisked matcha gives the cup its bright green colour and frothy body — the umami-sweet character of stone-ground green tea, layered with the spice rather than buried by it.

🔥

Ginger-Clove Finish

Finish

Ginger and clove close the cup — gentle warmth rather than spicy heat. The dessert side of chai without going sugary.

## How to Brew

01

Sift & Measure

One level teaspoon per cup. Sift the powder if it’s clumped — matcha is fine enough to clump in humid kitchens.

02

Whisk with Hot Water

Add a small amount (about 60 ml) of hot water — 80°C / 175°F, not boiling. Whisk in a tight zigzag with a bamboo whisk or small electric frother until smooth and slightly foamy.

03

Top with Milk

Pour steamed or warmed milk on top to fill the cup. Sweeten lightly with honey if you want; the spices are sweet enough on their own.

Water

80°C

Method

Whisk

Per Cup

1 tsp

Equally good iced: whisk the powder into a small splash of warm water, fill a glass with cold milk and ice, pour the matcha mix in. The colour is its own argument.

## About the Tea

🍵

Stone-Ground Matcha

The Green

Shade-grown Japanese green leaves stone-milled into a fine powder. Because you consume the leaf rather than steep it, matcha delivers more of what makes green tea green — colour, umami, gentle caffeine.

🌶

Chai Spice Blend

The Spice

Ground cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, clove, black pepper — the same proportions used in a traditional masala chai, ground fine to whisk through the matcha rather than steep through leaf.

✨

No Sweetener

The Honesty

Unsweetened by design — the spice blend reads sweet on its own, and milk adds the rest. You choose how (and whether) to sweeten the cup.

In the tin

Matcha green tea powder, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, black pepper.

Origin & Sourcing

Stone-ground matcha sourced from Japanese tea gardens, blended with whole-spice chai ground in the proportions used across northern India. A whisk-not-steep cup that drinks fast and pours like a small ceremony.
