## Description

100% Pure Cold-Pressed Non-Comedogenic Vegan

The only oil that mimics what your skin already makes. Jojoba is not technically an oil at all — it is a liquid wax ester, and its molecular structure is the closest match to human sebum found anywhere in the plant kingdom.

Most oils sit on top of the skin. Jojoba oil is recognized by the skin as its own sebum, which is why it absorbs without residue and works across every skin type — **including oily and acne-prone skin**. When sebum production is excessive, jojoba signals the skin to slow down. When the skin is dry, jojoba fills in the lipid gaps that moisture escapes through. It is a regulator, not just a moisturizer.

This is 100% pure **Simmondsia Chinensis** seed oil, first-press cold-pressed from desert-grown jojoba seeds. No refining, no deodorizing, no blending. The golden color and faint nutty scent are markers of a genuine first-press extraction — the same markers that disappear in a refined product. One bottle works as a face oil, a hair treatment, a carrier oil for aromatherapy, and a cuticle conditioner. Four applications from a single ingredient.

Who it is for

 🌿

Face Care

A sebum balancer for both oily and dry skin types. Two to three drops on damp skin replace a stand-alone moisturizer for many users.

 🪶

Hair & Scalp

Non-greasy conditioner for dry ends and flaky scalp. Absorbs into the hair shaft without weighing strands down or leaving buildup.

 🧴

Acne-Prone Skin

Comedogenic rating of 2 (low). Jojoba’s wax-ester structure means it does not clog pores the way triglyceride-based oils can.

 🧱

Aromatherapy

Stable carrier oil that does not oxidize quickly. Dilute essential oils for massage, roller blends, or diffuser jewelry without worrying about rancidity.

 **The Sampson Promise**

We are environmental engineers, not marketers. We chose jojoba oil for its molecular compatibility with skin — not because it trends well. One ingredient, first-press, nothing added.

## Benefits

💧

Mimics natural sebum

Liquid wax ester, not a triglyceride

Jojoba oil is the closest botanical match to human sebum ever identified. Its wax-ester structure means the skin recognizes it as its own, absorbing it without the greasy residue left by conventional plant oils.

⚖️

Balances oil production

Regulates both excess and deficit

On oily skin, jojoba signals sebaceous glands to produce less. On dry skin, it fills lipid gaps and reduces transepidermal water loss. One oil, two mechanisms — which is why it works across all skin types.

🌿

Non-comedogenic

Comedogenic rating 2 of 5

Unlike coconut oil (rating 4) or wheat germ oil (rating 5), jojoba’s wax-ester molecular structure does not accumulate in pores. It is one of the few oils widely used on acne-prone skin without triggering breakouts.

🪶

Scalp and hair nourishment

Non-greasy, absorbs into the shaft

Jojoba oil for hair works because it penetrates the cortex without coating the cuticle in heavy residue. It softens dry ends, calms a flaky scalp, and adds shine without the weight that silicone-based serums leave behind.

🧪

Rich in antioxidants

Vitamin E + B-complex

Naturally occurring vitamin E (tocopherols) and B-complex vitamins in jojoba oil support skin-cell turnover and help protect the lipid barrier from oxidative stress. These are native to the seed — not added after extraction.

## How to Use

1

Face

Apply 2–3 drops of jojoba oil to slightly damp skin after cleansing. Press gently into the face and neck with fingertips — do not rub. Damp skin absorbs the oil faster and locks in more hydration. Use morning, evening, or both.

2

Hair

Warm 4–6 drops between palms and work through mid-lengths and ends of towel-dried hair. For a deeper scalp treatment, massage a small amount into the scalp before bed, then shampoo in the morning. Jojoba oil for hair is lightweight enough to use on fine strands without buildup.

3

Carrier Oil

Mix 1 tablespoon of jojoba with 3–5 drops of your chosen essential oil for massage, roller-ball blends, or body application. Jojoba’s oxidative stability makes it one of the longest-lasting carrier oils — it will not go rancid the way sweet almond or grapeseed can.

A little goes a long way. Two to three drops is enough for the entire face. If the oil feels heavy or sits on the surface, you are using too much — scale back and apply to damper skin.

## Ingredients

⚜️

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil

Liquid wax ester, single ingredient

A golden liquid wax extracted from the seeds of the jojoba shrub (Simmondsia Chinensis), native to the Sonoran Desert. Composed primarily of eicosenoic acid (C20:1) wax esters — the same class of long-chain fatty acids found in human sebum. Cold-pressed from first-press seeds to preserve the full spectrum of naturally occurring vitamin E, B-complex vitamins, and phytosterols. Does not contain triglycerides, which is why it resists oxidation far longer than conventional plant oils.
